The Storytelling Institute gives concerts, workshops, presentations, and brings in guest storytellers for our Spring Festival. These events are held throughout the year on the South Mountain Community College Campus at 7050 South 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85042. With the execption of our workshops, our events are free and open to the public. A World of Wonder: Folktales for Grownups Spring 2008

During the Spring semester 2008, join Institute Faculty Members Liz Warren, Ricardo Provencio, and LynnAnn Wojciechowicz in the Studio Theatre for a series of performances of folktales from around the world. Each performance begins at 6:30pm with a short introduction to the featured foltale type. The featured stories will then be told, followed by a discussion of the stories and their primary characteristics and themes. Late-comers will not be seated once the featured stories have begun.

Workshops
Storytelling Institute Faculty Members and Amigos offer a variety of workshops on campus and for interested groups. Our Spring Festival also features workshops presented by our Featured Teller.
