Storytelling is a powerful medium for teaching and learning. It invites the listener to interact with people and ideas in a natural way. This certificate program is designed to provide students with an understanding of universal themes and basic practices which are the foundation for storytelling.

This certificate program provides interactive storytelling training applicable to careers in areas such as education, library science, the arts, human relations, law, mental health, law enforcement, business, prevention programs, the ministry, and interpretive settings such as museums and parks.

For additional information on the Certificate Program in Storytelling, please contact LynnAnn Wojciechowicz, the SMCC Storytelling Institute Director, at 602-243-8022 or via e-mail at Lynnann.woj@smcmail.maricopa.edu.
